I studied LPI as I wanted to further my knowledge in Linux. The OS, our company’s platform is ran on, is CentOS. I was to be technical support, but had very little Linux experience. I took the LPI course to further my skills and knowledge and ultimately give myself a better position in my work. The company I work for is Davra Networks. We are provide a platform that allows customers to define, build and bring IoT (Internet of Things) applications. The benefits of having the LPI certification have been enormous for me in my work. My knowledge of Linux has increased a lot and now I am able to create test scripts to automate my testing. This has freed up more time for me and allows me to get on with other important tasks. That is just one of many benefits of having LPI cert in work.
