Why LPI Certification?

IT Certification is a common way of demonstrating knowledge, competence and understanding of a specific technical area. Usually IT Certification is aligned to a specific IT Vendor, however certain Certifications (for example LPI) are vendor neutral.

IT Certification can be used as an alternative to Further or Higher Education, or they can form part of the Academic Curriculum. IT Certification can also be used to top up previous learning or can knowledge in a new subject area. Typically IT Certification are a shorter time period and costs less than an Academic education.

IT Certification can be used to differentiate yourself when seeking new employment, or a promotion – they can make the difference between your CV being on the employers short list or not. IT Certification demonstrates knowledge, which can be used to leverage a better package – be that wages, flexible working or better perks.
